Wastewater digester aeration optimization at Du Quoin WWTP

The plant looked at how it was running air equipment for its sludge digester and found it was using more air and electricity than needed for a tank that was only one-third full. The improvement opportunity is to tune operations so the plant uses less energy while improving sludge handling and odor performance.
